Ron Paul: Leap Day Money Bomb!
February 12, 2008
On February 29, 2008, we Ron Paul supporters should money bomb the Ron Paul campaign. I believe that last money bomb of ours was his 51st anniversary on the 1st. Let’s make 2008’s Leap Day a day to remember when the Leap Day Money Bomb raised the most money of them all! Please save some cash and donate it to the cause of our freedom on February 29, 2008!
A long-time-coming Ron Paul rant

I’ve been thinking about doing this, but just didn’t. Watch it. There will probably be more coming.

iPod, therefore I am

which iPod are you?
Today, Apple debuted the new iPods… a lot of them. I will say that I figured they would bring a out a new iPod of some sort, I didn’t know that they would update everything, so that’s pretty cool.
First up, we have the iPod Shuffle. This little thing has gotten some color updates, but that’s about it; moving on… Next, we have the new iPod Nano. While it does video now, I still think it looks too much like someone’s bad mock-up of what the new Nano would actually look like. There’s too much space on the sides of the wheel. Maybe they should have made it on the side, if not touch-screen… am I asking too much? Yet another update to the iPod line-up is the new iPod Classic. This timeless Apple product has been with them for the longest- You know what? Let’s cut to the chase.

here’s where the beat goes on
Ok, so Apple comes out with some new iPods, the new iPhone prices, and some new software features. Out of all the stuff they rolled out today, I have to say that I’m pretty excited about the iPod Touch, but at the same time I’m also very disgruntled about some of the features. Let me explain.
isn’t it what you’ve always wanted?
The short answer is no. But first I’ll let you know the whole story.

bells-n-whistles
First of all it has the multi-touch user interface. If you know anything about the iPhone, then you know what I’m talking about. Some other features that mimic the iPhone’s are the Safari web browser, the You-tube app (awesome), the actual iPod functionality with CoverFlow, as well as photos and movies. Some of the new things about the iPod touch are the wi-fi iTunes Music Store (iTMS) and the lack of some of the should-be-standard apps bundled with the iPhone (i.e. Widgets). The wi-fi iTMS is really cool because you can now download songs directly to the iPod as long as you’re riding some wi-fi. This is really handy seeing as though you no longer need your computer attached to it in order to get new iTunes.
can I have some more, sir?
Now, let’s talk about hard-drive space. I’ve already said too much. Apple decided that it would be a great idea to make a device superior the the iPod Classic in every way… except storage space! The iPod Touch only sports two “for-the-birds” configurations: and 8GB flash memory chip or a 16GB version. This is ridiculous. That’s not ahead of the nano by leaps or bounds, and the new Classic has up to 160GB!
You see. I’ve had my iPod Photo for over two years, now. This thing has seen some better days. It’s been dropped, stepped on, sat on, cleaned with Win-dex (which, mind you, has ammonia in it. Ammonia eats plastic… yeah.), thrown, and did I mention dropped? The battery is absolutely wasted. It’s basically only good for charging. But if there’s one thing I can say… it’s got bigger balls than the new guy!
So at the end of the day, my overall impression of the new iPod Touch is one of covetousness. It’s just too bad that the massive lack of hard-drive* space is my deal-breaker.
All I’m saying is that I need a 60GB iPhone. What’s the hold-up, Apple?
*hint hint
Apple’s holding a special event tomorrow
September 4, 2007
I am so excited! Apple will be announcing what they’ve talked about for a few weeks, now. Here’s my bet:
- The 6G iPod. It’ll be just like the iPhone, maybe better. It might have built-in wifi, it might not though. If it does, the iPhone won’t be be as appealing as it already is.
- The new iPod nano… souped-up a little. Not much to say about this one. Some people suspect that it’ll do video. I don’t care.
I want the real thing. Apple.
c’mon, man

I’m wishy-washy on some things. I just realized this about my choice in comedians. I listen to Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, Demetri Martin, Mitch Hedberg, and Dane Cook. The first three I don’t mind, it’s the last two I’m have a problem with. You see, I don’t like it when people cuss. First, it’s just not necessary. Plain and simple. Second, sometimes it’s that much funnier when they do. That’s the problem! How can saying vulgar language be that funny? Don’t get me wrong I don’t listen to stuff with “adult language” or whatever just for the language, but at the same time, it can make me laugh pretty hard.
I wonder why that is. Matt, help me out with this one.
I’m getting off track, here. The real reason I started writing was because I don’t like it when people ask me if I’ve seen the latest episode of The Chappelle Show.
No.
There you have it. This is not meant to sound mean, but stop doing that. I don’t watch it. I don’t need it. Mitch and Dane are already bad enough for me, anyway. Why would I need another one like Dave Chappelle? Besides, I’m trying to cut back on those dudes. Yeah I know that all of them probably have cused in shows, but I’ve yet to hear it.
(Whew)

Wanna know what’s wrong with our judicial system? Read Ecclesiastes 8:11.
“Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.”
If you don’t fear justice, what will stop you from committing more crime?
