Moving on up…

I bought a domain. I now hang out here.

page4_blog_entry8_1.jpgSo most (all) Mac geeks know about Apple announcing Boot Camp, technology that will be integrated into the next major release of Mac OS X (Leopard) that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac. Check it out. Here’s what I’m thinking. I’m hearing a lot of complaining coming from the Mac department that really shouldn’t be heard at all. Boot Camp is going to be a great thing! First, hardcore PC users will have yet another reason to get a Mac. Second, those mac users who “need” Win-Doze software can have it (yeah we know, your boss demands it from you, whatever…) Not only that, but now Macs will be able to play MANY more games, therefor shutting down those PC dorks who are always talking about how you “can’t play games on a Mac.”

Now.
Will I use Boot Camp?
Define “use”… probably not.
Will I install Boot Camp just to say that I can run both operating systems?
You betcha!
Then why install it at all?
Look, Jesus performed miracles; NOT for Himself, but for the unbelievers, so that they WOULD believe. Get what I’m sayin’?
